Left the Badlands early and drove to Mt. Rushmore. Tacky town, great monument! Then to Crazy Horse monument, also impressive, although not finished. Much work to be done!!!!!
Left and drove along the scenic route in the black hills, route 385 and 14a. Went through the Spearhead canyon, next to the Spearhead creek, sooo beautiful!!!! Looks a lot like El Capitan in Yosemite. Left South Dakota. Drove to Sheridan, Wyoming, where we have stopped for the night. To dinner and bed.
