Great day. Started with a geology lecture, followed by a fossil lecture. Both great! Then to visit the paleantology lab where we saw people working on fossils, cleaning them of rock and plaster. So interesting!
Next we took a ride to Kyle, a town about 35 miles from the park. There, we visited a native american exibit. Again, very interesting.
After a brief nap, took a hike in the park, went to dinner, and drove to the northwest end of the park to see the sunset.
Finally, we walked in the dark, with flashlight to see the stars, a suggestion of the ranger who gave us the geology lecture. Tomorrow morning, we leave the Bandlands park. Fun visit!!!!!!
Off to bed.
